The gospel truly is "good news" and not only that but it also is the happiest message anyone could ever hear:
"You can be forgiven of all your sins"
"You can live with your Heavenly Father and your family with a perfect body for eternity"
"You will get to see your deceased family and friends again"
"I love you"
"You are a choice child of God"
"I know exactly what you're going through and I want to help"
.... Who wouldn't want to have these blessings?
We have a great responsibility as members with this knowledge of God's truths. Lets not keep our mouths shut.
Speaking of keeping mouths shut and also during this time of year I have another thought to share.
You'll never regret saying Thank You to someone, but you may regret not saying Thank You.
Let us have "Attitudes of Gratitude" this Thanksgiving season. I admit that a holiday where all you do is eat always seemed pretty dumb to me, but that's not the purpose of Thanksgiving. It's much more! Let us all look for a greater purpose and meaning to this food-filled holiday haha!!!
