Home with Mom!

So today while following mom around the house (I don't have a job because I didn't know I would be home this summer and my job was given away) we walked outside to hang the clothes up on the clothesline and what happened next? "Ahhhhh!" mom starts to scream and says "Alli that's a rattlesnake!" "Are you sure?" I asked "Yes I know what a rattlesnake looks like" she said quite dignified like!! So while I kept watch on him she ran in the house to call 911. I personally like snakes so I kept offering to cut his head off, but NO WAY she was calling the police. The police officer, officer Kirby, was not excited and scared to come up "I don't deal with snakes" he kept telling my mom, "Can't you just kill him?" haha but we all know MOM "Ahhh! No I'm home alone I can't kill him" (not being dramatic at all) heh heh.

So here is our little rattlesnake friend! She also called up to Boden's house to see if Brian was home, but Jacob said he would come down to the rescue. When he arrived three police cars came up our road too. HAHA Officer Kirby wasn't kidding when he was scared to come!! Jacob walked over, took one look at the snake and said "That's a blow snake". Mom still sure of herself replied with, "Oh no that is not!" And Jacob, to prove himself correct, picked up the snake by the tail, now mother is screaming like there's no tomorrow, and I'm laughing!! hahaha and what do you know IT'S A BLOW SNAKE! ah hahaha Mom was so embarrassed as the police men are walking over now. It was officer Kirby and Cheif James. Pah Ha! They all had a good laugh. . . especially good 'ol cheif James who can't wait to write up how scared Kirby was to need assistance and how our dear mother can't tell the difference between snakes :)

While hanging out with mom at home we also have had the great opportunity to babysit the grandkiddies! I like to spice up this great opportunity and the last time we babysat Milo he left looking like this TeeHee!
