No nEeD to DebAte, LifE is So GreAt!!

I just finished my last final that I am able to take early, meaning I will only have one final on the actual week of finals, which is next week. Ahh! Can you believe it's already finals week? I can't!! It blows my mind!

I'm at the library still on campus waiting until 7 because my work is going to have a dinner and party tonight. Woo! I can't wait because we're all bringing food from the Asian countries, well except me. For some reason they just assigned me on the ice cream duty. haha! But I'm not complaining. I knew I'd be on campus all day doing tests and work, so it saved me from cooking.

Life is just wonderful! I love it!  Yesterday was Trevor's birthday. He is officially 24, whew! Gettin old eh? Ha! Not true! We're so young. I'm so excited for our new lives to start together and the adventures to begin.

I get to brag about Trev!  Last week we attended a dinner that Trevor was invited to by the Chemistry and Biochemistry department.  It was a banquet to honor the graduating students, graduate students, and then students who were chosen to receive money and/or awards for their accomplishments.  They didn't tell Trevor what he would be receiving, but he received an award that gave him the money he needs to continue working on his cancer research that he's participating in, and it recognized him as a student with the potential to have a future in research (if I had the program with me I could tell you exactly what it was...). Nevertheless it was Awesome and I was so proud!!! Trevor was so shocked when they called his name. Haha! I wish I had a picture of that to show off.

I also got to sit by a millionaire who has so many pattens and accomplishments. He's pretty much famous and now my best friend!

Hey!!! I just checked my grades to see if any of my teachers had entered all the work and test scores and guess what!?!?! Out of my 5 classes, so far I've received 3 A's.  Woohooo!!! Now I just need the last two classes to cooperate and give me A's too. I think I'm sitting on the fence of A's or A-'s and so the final test will determine the end result. Pray and cross your fingers I fall on the A side. That would be Awesome!!!

I hope everyone had a great April Fools Day. Ha! I sure did. Ben and Jodi came up with their kids, so the mischievousness began!!!

Our morning began with some delish blue french toast. MmmMmmm! Doesn't the sight of those just make your mouth water!

Our morning actually began a little earlier than the french toast....... some time around midnight we happened to begin a little art project....
I began the thinking process....
And mom solidified and confirmed the final project......

We were having lots of fun creating our tricks

What are we doing with these beautiful signs with Mark and Amberlee's phone numbers, you might ask?

Why sneakily putting them up at their house, of course!!! What else did you expect??

Notice that the kids are included. This offer is a steal of a deal!!!

We had some great teamwork going on!
And after only speaking spanish while we were there, our mission was accomplished. Ah hahaha!!

The next morning Kaitlyn called me and asked if I had been to her house pranking. I couldn't imagine how they traced it back to us. Our spanish was so good and we made sure no evidence was left... She told me the neighbors called them and asked, "You're moving!?!?!"  haha!

It was just a family fun-filled day!  I did put candy lego candies in mom's funeral potatoes... which ended up going viral. heh heh... woops! The oven melted the candies and they spread throughout the whole casserole. It was disgusting! So word of advice: don't put lego candies in casseroles that they can melt all through and ruin:)

Sheesh I just looked at my blog and have realized that I have not been keeping you all up to date on my life. Hmm! Sorry bout that. Life just gets busy doesn't it!?!? Well take a look at these
Mmmm! While mom was in Reno with Julie me and dad were over our own meals. By the looks of this great meal, I'd say we faired ourselves well!

It was fun assembling the kabobs together. We had pineapple, meat, tomatoes, mushrooms, peppers, onions,... and I think that's all. But they made a delicious mix!!

Then I forgot to tell you I went on my first snowmobiling adventure. I went with Trevor, his dad, and his brother Tyler.
It was great fun!

I kept up my tradition of crashing whatever machine is my first time trying, ha! But if you've never driven a snowmobile... they are strange feeling...

Here is Trevor's dad using his resources to talk on his cell phone. Haha! He cracks me up!!!

I believe Trevor got stuck. haha! I love this picture

It was a fun day!! Deep snow and good company, what more could I ask for?

A few weeks ago I took a quick trip to Ben's too and his boys were having way too much fun with cameras. haha I thought the pictures were funny, though. Roger was our photographer.

Well my work party is supposed to start soon and I'm still in the library. I better go. Here's some more pictures of me and Trevor, since I know you want more!!

Happy Last Day of Classes!!! Woohoo!!!

Is Eternity Long Enough?

I haven't shown off any of the pictures me and Trev got doing our engagements. So I thought I oughta finally share them... since we're on the count down of 3 weeks!!!

Need A Laugh?

I just love this picture of my adorable nephews Johnny and Ezra, haha! It makes me laugh every time I look at it

Colorful Fun!

Last weekend I woke up early saturday morning and drove down to Enterprise to have Ben work his miracle fingers on my mouth. I was flossing my teeth the Thursday before when something white came flying out from between the two back teeth of mine. I couldn't think of what I'd eaten that day that was white, but when I picked up the chunk to see what it was, it was my tooth!!! By the time Ben fixed my teeth, I ate a delish lunch made by jodi, and then I drove back home where Dad and Mom pulled into the driveway right ahead of me from Mom visiting Julie.  It was perfect timing.

Then I got a call from Trevor inviting me to the Utah Jazz basketball game.  His dad's company had tickets in some box seats and I couldn't say no. I was so excited! It was an amazing and intense game!  They went into over time, but in the end Jazz won! Woohoo!! I wasn't used to sitting in a box where everyone actually SITS while watching the game. It was a little strange actually, but still fun! I did feel like "My Fair Lady" when I jumped out of my chair a few times screaming, then looked around and everyone else was still in their seats being all proper with their cheers. Ha!

This weekend faired to be a fun one too. Friday Trev and I went to the temple which is always a great breath of fresh air through the stresses of life.  It's so great to be reminded of our purpose here on Earth and receive that boost of spiritual energy!! I love the temple!!!

Saturday I woke up and had breakfast with 2 sisters from my mission and 2 girls from a part member family that we used to visit.
I just love all of these girls with all my heart!!! It was fun to unite again, a little weird that we weren't their sister missionaries, but fun having them here in my part of town.  They lived in La Union, which was part of my area when I served in Texas... oh how I wish I could go back and visit!!!

Late that day my friend Kate came down from Utah State to attend the Color Fest at the Hare Krishna temple and somehow she convinced me to join. I invited Melissa and Andrea to join and here is us before the fun of coloring.
We were so clean.... and then the ceremonies began

I was a little skeptical of this event, especially when Trevor told me the night before that I was going to get chalk poisoning, but it actually ended up being a lot of fun!!! I would totally do it again! Maybe it was just the great company I was with though.... This would be equally as fun with friends, anywhere, throwing chalk! Although, I still have purple, red, and green in my hair.  Fortunately, it's underneath my roots so you only see them when you pick up my hair, but I'm hoping it's not permanent.

A healthy Heart is Smart!!!

My new best friends! There's more, but that's enough to show what I get to wear for 24 hours. It's to monitor my heart rate. Oh there's also a little pack I get to carry around with it, which isn't really little at all, that's the only bad part about this game. I'm having an echo test in a week and I got an EKG today. I guess because when I stand up, more often than not, I black out or just get really light headed and dizzy, that's not a good thing. But who knows why it's happening?  That's why I have these friends that won't let me shower (and I just returned from Zumba and running... uh oh!).  I'll let you know what I find out when I get the test results back, which is in about 2 weeks, but please pray the doctor's can find a reason to rid my tiredness, cold, and black out symptoms.  It's not really slowing me down too much, it's just really annoying!

Well I love you all!! I'll try to get on and update what's been going on lately.  I should be getting my wedding dress soon, woohoo!! And when I say "my" wedding dress I mean "mom's" wedding dress :)

Heho y Hecho

Today I feel very accomplished. I wrote 3 papers, did a two hour project, put in 4 1/2 hours at work, went grocery shopping, made a salad for a party tomorrow, and cleaned my room. All before 8 o'clock. I was going to take a mid-term test that I now have to take tomorrow, but I think I am tired now and would do better tomorrow on it anyways.  Trevor is studying for a test he's got to take tomorrow too.

You know what I just realized? Well, last night I went with Trevor's family to the temple because his brother Spencer went through the temple for his first time.  It was wonderful, as the temple always is, and now I know why I performed so well today.  The last time I went to the temple and then wrote a paper and did homework I went so quickly and had the homework come so easily.... and now after going to the temple and doing homework last night and today, it has proven to do the same again.  If anyone has a lot of homework or things you need to accomplish in a timely manner, I suggest going to the temple.  It's such a blessing and so amazing to have the blessings of the temple in our lives.  I'm so grateful for the gospel!!! I'm so grateful to have such a loving Heavenly Father!

I love that it's February!! I love Valentines day and the month of love (as I like to call it)!!  Tis the season! I've been putting on love music at work until one of the boys got me in trouble by my boss. Ha!!! Ridiculous, don't you think?  Our office is all decorated in hearts and everywhere you turn it's red and pink. I love it! We just need some flowers in there and it'd be perfect!! Fresh flowers!!

Tomorrow we're having a work party at Jeanne Gubler's house. Isn't it so funny that Jeanne is my boss? It still kills me to see where my life has taken me since I've returned home from my mission. Never would I have guessed anything of where I'm at right now, but it's great! Hard, yes, and harder than I'd like it to be, but it's good.  I'm super excited for this party though. I need a fun filled party to pay off for all the homework I've been doing.  MmmHmm!

I've been teaching my cute little second grade gym class for 3 weeks now and I just love my children.  They are so funny and soo full of energy.  They haven't quite got me out beat with their energy, but they come pretty close.  My teacher told the student who video tapes me that she loves how I don't just tire her children out, and i quote, she said, "She kills them!" haha! I took that as a compliment.  This last week we did dancing. Oh my! My children love to dance. They truly keep me sane with their insanity! I just love children!!!

Well I actually am really tired so I'm going to go to bed. G'night!

Bringing on 2012 (my chinese power year)

Well Happy 2012!! I'm not sure if I lose track of time or don't want it to be 2012, but I found a receipt for a check I wrote a couple weeks ago and the year said 2004. Ha! I have no idea where that one came from!

Anyways, It was fun to start the new year off getting engaged. This semester is already proving to be my least favorite since I never see Trevor. In fact, I could live in a different state and see him about as much as I do now. I hate it, but that's just how it is I guess!

An Hermana de mi mision is serving a mission in Chile, but before she left the MTC me and Trevor took her to Walmart for some things. Ha! Trev was quite the trooper shopping with us two woman, well actually just shopping with Hermana Rodriguez makes anyone a trooper.  She is so funny! And Crazy!! I love her! She's originally from Columbia in South America, but now she's living in Rivers Edge, New Mexico.  She brought a lot of great news from my last branch I served in and it was just so fun to be with her again. I loved my mission so so so much!!! She told me Trevor was an angel that has fallen straight from heaven and I am so lucky to have found him. Haha! I already knew that....

Well, my classes aren't that bad this semester, I'm taking less credits than I usually do, although my elementary math class is a run for my money. Haha! I thought I knew math, but adding and subtracting are actually really difficult!! It's a good thing I have a kind teacher who helps me A LOT!!

I start teaching in the school this week. I'm excited for that!! I'm going to teach at Brockbank elementary school in Spanish Fork. I'll be teaching Mrs. Peterson's second grade's gym class. haha! They are CrAzY children.  I stopped in to say hello to them on Friday and went in full of energy and enthusiasm.... uh oh! It was a bad combination! My energy plus theirs' turned into total crazinesss!! They were cheering and jumping all over the place and then I just froze and stared in amazement at how out-of-control they got in 2 seconds. I looked at the teacher who said, "They are a really talkative bunch" hahaha! So this shall be a great adventrure. I just better get lots of fun activities planned for them.

I decided that planning a wedding is a 5 credit hour course. haha! I now understand why little girls start planning their weddings when they're young. There's so many decisions to make and I still am in the process of figuring out what my taste is.

As for a wedding dress, me and mom are trying to fix up her wedding dress. I'm excited about that!!  I really hope the cleaners can get it to be white again (35 years in a closet has not done the dress a favor), but then I really can wear it. Woohoo! I went shopping for dresses and they were so frilly and beaded and FAKE (i felt like) that I didn't like any of them. They were pretty, yes, but not "me". I felt like I was going to the prom again... which is not my idea of how I want to feel on my wedding day. There were some that were toned down more to my liking, but lets just hope mom's dress will work out. Wouldn't that be fun?? I think so! ...even though it is a little retro, ha!

I'm excited for the family bridal shower on February 2nd. Right before Wesley's baptism which I'm equally excited for!!! I love baptisms! I love this gospel!!!  We're so blessed to have it in our lives!! That truly is a great advantage that I have at BYU: my testimony can be strengthened while learning about how to be a great teacher.  In fact one of my textbooks is the manual, "Teaching No Greater Call".  It's an incredible book if you haven't read it.  I totally recommend it!!! It truly is an inspired manual!

Well church is soon! Hasta Luego!

Christmas breaking it up!

Finals finally ended and the break began with a bridal shower for my MTC companion, Chelsea Longhurst. Woo!!  It was very fun and I'm sooo excited for her!! I can't wait for their beautiful ceremony in the Oquirrh Mountain Temple on January 3rd. I've never been to that temple either so I'm really excited!!

Then came a trip up the Mountains with Trevor's family.  It was way fun! Full of games, relaxing, movies (and when I say movies i mean lots and lots and lots of snow mobile movies.... and then some more snow mobile movies, since there wasn't enough snow to do it in real life).  Ha!

There was enough snow to make you cold!  And ice fish!!! Just not for snowmobiling. I never went down to the ice fishing, but they had a lot of fun doing that I think.  We four wheeled and went shooting one day.  It was a great start to Christmas break!

Then Christmas Eve came and Julie, Nick, Molly, and Johnny arrived from Reno. Wooo! We even had Santa make a surprise visit! He burst through the front door after we finished the nativity, performed and presented by the grandchildren, and it scared me (since no one told me he was coming) and I screamed at the top of my lungs. haha! But after sitting on his lap, we each got a giant candybar like Grandma and Grandpa Davis used to always give us. Mmmm! It felt like Christmas eve again!

The cemetary was beautiful as usual.  I love the cemetary lighting!!! I think every city in the world should do this on Christmas Eve. It's so beautiful!!

After Christmas we went to the ranch while there was still snow and went sledding down the hill.

It was lots of fun! Trevor tried to get me to wear a helmet... HA! But it ended up that he stopped wearing his, our family is corrupting him. I don't think I'd ever worn a helmet four wheeling until I went to the cabin with his family.

Milo had a crash worth bragging about. It's left a mighty cool mark on his face. Hmmm that probably could have been avoided had he been wearing a helmet...

Princess Molly is pulling her princess smile here. I tried to mimic it, but clearly you can tell I don't have it quite as good as she's mastered it.
This video shows the fun Molly and John had staying at our house.  I've trained all the other grandchildren to stay out of Aunt Alli's room, but John and Molly haven't quite grasped that concept.

It was so much fun having them here though. I missed them so much when they left!! Here is Molly pulling her "bad guy" face.

It's been fun catching up with friends over the break too. One morning I went to breakfast with some girlfriends from Highschool (L-R) Me, Haley Darling Wilson, Lexy Buffo Ward, Hillary Searle, and Crystal Call Melander.  Tonight I'm going over to Emily's to watch the latest Harry Potter movie. Woo!! I can't wait! And earlier today Shannon Griffiths Baily and her husband Jake came over to visit. I just love friends!!! Yesterday I went to Ari's to see what her adorable baby girl Alivia got for Christmas and to drop off a loaf of bread and visit. At the beginning of the break we all (Ari, Liv and I) had a girls outing and went to Brick Oven too. I just love my friends!!!

Skyping has been a part of the break too. Christmas was fun skyping with Sherry's fam and Ben's fam! Tonight Sherry interrupted my blogging and we skyped. Here's some photos

I'm ready for them to come to Utah!!! Calvin is getting so big and he's so adorable. I think all of Sherry and Trevor's children are a perfect mix of them. I think Calvin looks like Trevor, and then I change to Sherry, and then back to Trevor and that's how all their babes have been!!! I love it!!

I love my family! I stink at talking on the phone with you all, but I do love you all!!

It's been a fun break! It's been fun playing with Trev's fam too. Trevor got a new game for Christmas, Betrayal At House on the Hill,  and it's been a popular play.  It's fun if you're looking for a board game. It's different every time you play and it keeps you on your toes.

Well that's life so far. I'm sure I've missed a lot, but I'll have to update some more later because it's time to go to Emily's house. Wooo!! Oh and her parents just left today for their mission. Hooray! I'm so excited for them. They'll be awesome and they're CES missionaries, so that's exciting. Emily and her sister Megan now run the house, that's why I'm going over to Par-Tay!!!
